The newest zeeker has been tested to charge at a maximum of 546 kw
Sure, they don't have 1100 hp; but that's not a battery limitations. They just don't have 3 or 4 motors like Lucid.

And that's just one example.

Also, for lucid, while the peak is above 300 kw; the average rate is much lower; and seems to be heavily affected by weather.

In fact Lucid is quite a slow charger, slower than the taycan, definitely slower than the my25 taycan; as they can't maintain that peak for longer than a few seconds.

Interesting. From the same site, they have a charging curve for 2022 Lucid they tested, which definitely is not averaging to 76KW.

It's why I mentioned the weather aspect. Seems to be heavly infulenced by temperature outside, more so than on the taycan; as if you look at 6 different sources you will have 6 wildly different results on the average charging speed of a Lucid.
But in all it is clear that the 300kw charging speed is more of a tickbox, than actual reality, as it seems to stay at that speed for 10-30 seconds.

Well, if your Taycan 'barge' fits the UK roads, Lucid will fit too, as it is 2.7cm NARROWER than the Taycan. Granted, it is 1.2cm LONGER though, you guys have some precision length parking spots there which just fit the Taycan with less than 1.2cm to spare?

Does anyone else find it curious that the 4S is so much lower than others....and even substantially less than the 4S CT? Why/how would the CT get 20 MPH more than the sedan?

That’s genuinely surprised me. I had a chance to take a really good look around a Lucid with the owner when I was at a very convivial vineyard visit in Napa a year or so back and to me it appeared it was so much larger than the Taycan. I’m guessing the optical illusion I suffered from was just that it’s overall a bit bulkier in design, to my eye at least. Every day is a school day!

Yeah that surprised me to see a larger difference where the CT is lower. I guess less efficient on aero with the rear, added height and slightly more weight?

I was about to post the url for the nifty Porsche calculator that estimated range -- and quite accurately so -- based on Taycan model, wheel size, wheel type, temperature, and driving mix (i.e., city vs what I would call secondary highway vs what 'Mericans call interstate).

But alas it appears to be gone.

What has always been puzzling to me about the Taycan is the relatively small range impact by going up in :

• motor hp
• wheel size from 19" to 20" to 21" with corresponding increases in tire width

All other EV models show far bigger hits than for Porsche.
For motor hp, sure, perhaps Porsche has some sort of secret sauce for that.
But increasing wheel size and tire width is a universal factor.

I have a 4S CT with 21 inch Vossen wheels and, on long drives, rarely drive under 120km/h (75mph) or over 150km/h (93mph). I've done a few 300km (200mi) or 550km (340mi) trips and I've rarely seen averge consmption under 25kWh/100km (max 2.5mi/kWh) and have had averages up to 32kWh/100km (1.95mi/kWh).

The lower end figures (25/2.5) is around 120kph/75mi.

I know the car is not as aerodynamic as the sedan, but the efficiency is really weak. I would expect better figures than this, even with these wheels.

Having said that, I won't be selling my car anytime soon and I'll keep using it for long drives.

So refresh my memory. What were the EPA estimates for the V1 Taycan? As I recall, they were a bit low and we’ve all experienced better mileage, but I don’t have the details at hand.
