Seems odd that the Shell App lists the EVSEs at my local Porsche Centre but My Porsche App lists only the Porsche Centre (and is cheaper) for the same EVSE.

Can’t take the oil company out of the EV arm - they know how to take a profit and avoid a loss. Who’d have thought ?

This is what my local Shell charges in line with Porsche with the per minute charge on it…

Indeed. It’s standard Shell DC pricing across the board on PCS.

Do the Fulham units work with PCS though or do you have to use an alternative payment method?

Hi all, new taycan owner and yet to fast charge. When I do come to use the Porsche Charging network I’m curious to know which if any chargers allow plug and charge? Any experience of this would be very helpful

It seems to be conventional wisdom to assume it probably won't work even at the likes of Ionity where it is supposed to. So keep your card handy!

I’ve not actually tried it as yet given i live round the corner from that garage and charge at 17p at home!

Might try popping in there and charging for 2 minutes just for the thrill and buy something from the Waitrose in the garage (only the best for us EV drivers!)

Mine has worked on Ionity Plug and Charge from the outset. In fact it works so well that I do not always get charged at all :)

Works at Ionity and like @Englishtony2002 I have had 2 sessions which show in My Porsche App but no charge. I have to use the Porsche rfid card at Porsche dealers and Osprey

One of my Plug And Charge transactions did not show at all, no sign of it. I do get charged for all sessions that show up.

I might be the rarity in this but both my taycans I just drive up to IONITY charger and it just works plug and charge. I don’t think I’ve ever used my card.

I had an experience in a supermarket (Iceland) car park in Huddersfield, when test driving the Taycan. Went to an Instavolt, drove in (missed the sign on the way in as you are pulling of a relatively busy road) parked in a charging bay for 20 minutes, stayed with the car, left. Later I was sent a charge notice for what ended up being £100 after I'd challenged it. I wrote to Instavolt who tried to help but no luck. I used some standard defence material I'd googled, that didn't help. I'm used to hotel car parks operating a "enter your car details" at reception policy but I'd never encountered this at a supermarket before. I personally think its disgusting, they know I was not "parked" in the traditional sense but they seem to want to force you to shop just so you can use the not so public charger.

That's disgusting. I've had similar in a LIDL car park where you have to get receipt stamped but the queues were so big i put basket down and left only to get a ticket. I did get "let off" on the appeal though.

Regarding Shell, mentioned earlier in this thread, I called Porsche support last week, and they told me that some of the shell stations are run by a different operator which is no longer part of the scheme; they are unable to work out which are run by the operator, and that is their excuse for having stations in the Porsche app which do not work with the Charging Service.
I thought that was a fairly feeble reply, but they did say they were going to keep working on it, and were aware of this from several other complaints.
