Porsche glacier blue "lights"

I definitely would not have wasted the money on this option had I known that they really don’t actually “light up“. Someone in an older thread mentioned something about a possible after market solution? Has anyone seen/heard about some thing like that?

Given they both "glacier blue" and "black" are offered at the same price, perhaps it would be obvious you cannot "light up" in black, therefore it must be some trim piece only.

Also, info shows the following information for the two options:

If you want blue headlights, blue tint is probably your best choice. Get something that will protect them too, Taycan headlights get pitted quickly.

I think @NewtoEV was talking about the logo on the back, which could also be blue but doesn’t light up.

These clearly state "light trims" and not lights for the front and the back is the same way, it is just the logo itself and both do not light up. I optioned the front and I like it but it is very subtle. I cannot tell from a distance, unless I come up about this close, at a certain angle, and actually looking for the blue hue.

I say glacier blue is worth it, depending on your paint colour. They are very beautiful.

Its a nice touch. Aesthetics only, not functionality.. but I like it!!

I agree. I have them on milt Neptune blue ST. The rear is definitely more noticeable.
