They do, they have many subbrands.BYD doesn't have the level of "high performance" models that Xiaomi does (yet), though, do they?

I agree that we should not underestimate the speed of development in China. They most likely copied a lot from the start, just like Japan in the 70 ies. Just look at what happened to the camera industry then.Interestingly, i noted 4 separate news stories regarding Chinese EV companies on my news feed (financial) this morning.
I am neutrasl on all this, but I think a lot of people are really underestimating the speed of change and the scale of their ambitions.
Not looked in depth at these stories, but just notable the pace of change with China/EVs/batteries....
