Enjoy your 50k battery replacement
Your comments on topics about lowering are far more common than the actual accidents you are so worried about.

PS If I recall correctly, aren't you that guy who drives around on non-NF0 tires?

Looks great OP.

What are the wheel and tire specs?

I’m sorry but I fail to see the point.

The wheels look like they will almost scrape the wheel wells in this configuration, and will if the car lowers itself further during a drive.

It’s like the kids who put Japanese racing stickers all over their Hondas IMO.

Questionable benefit, huge downside.
Good thing it’s not your car, so the benefit/risk doesn’t have to meet your requirements.
Some people care about stance more than others, some are more concerned about function.

OP knows the risk he’s taking, don’t understand the benefit of harping on it.

@Ash78, filter (in your brain) the responses you read.
  1. Esthetics - obviously you know what you like there, so who cares if someone else does not like it. There is a reason there are so many specs of Taycan out there - different people spec their cars differently.
  2. Risks - take the risks mentioned, and accept them and/or mitigate them:
    1. Brake line burst risk - to me that would be the big one, but good news it Porsche has redesigned brake lines and are fitting the for free as part of a recall. I'd try to get that recall done soon, and while wait, periodically inspect your brake lines (can be done by raising the car's suspension and turning the wheels full left and full right) to make sure you don't see any wear which could leave you without mechanical brakes. Worst case of course is losing braked and getting in an accident.
    2. Battery damage risk - not much you can do about it, so either accept it, or raise the car back. You can partially mitigate by driving carefully. Worst case on this one is no Taycan for few weeks or months, then higher insurance for few years.
    3. Increased/uneven tire wear - just monitor your tires, perhaps perform an alignment while in low to ensure the camber is not excessive. Worst case on this one is the lowest cost, a set of new tires needed early.
Beyond that, just enjoy your car! This is an internet forum. If you ask people to comment on anything you do, you will get both likes and dislikes. Personally lowering is not at all my taste, but that shouldn't stop anyone from doing it to theirs. I speced and did mods to my car which I know other people don't like, so what (e.g. a simple one - electric charge port, some would only want a Taycan with it, I personally would have paid not to have it, hence I don't, because it blocks the air scarf vents, making them into a useless decoration)?

You should visit our friends at Tom Wood Porsche and get a FREE UVEye scan.
Dude, what's with all of the shade that you're sending? The guy wanted to lower his car, and he did with proper droplinks. What does it have to do with you, and why do you constantly have to try to say your opinion? You said your opinion once that you don't think it was a good idea, good for you now move along.

I don't think he gets it.

I like the look.
If there is one thing that I feel doesnt look right, its taycans that sit too high. (not talking about CTs)
Every now and then I see a Taycan and it just doesnt look right (to me) ... must be those without air suspension, they tend to sit just a bit too high to look sporty.

For me the car sits fine in "lowered" (yes, I had the brake-hoses replaced already) ... in "deep" I easily scrape the front when going over speedbumps (at a decent speed).

This may sound odd but is it possible to raise my suspension on my 2021 Taycan base model by 1/4” to 1/2” preferably. I have a steep entry into my garage where I scrape in the front when I enter or exit straight in & out. I can avoid the scraping but cutting the wheels the moment my tire hit the peak of the hump since when the tires turn they cant on an angle that raises the front end by 1/4” to 1/2”.
I have the vehicle in the raised position when I enter/exit. If I’m not raised it scrapes so badly that I damaged the plastic cover when I first pulled in/out of my garage.
I’m hoping there is a way to add spaces either in the front end but likely both front & rear end so I don’t degrade the aerodynamics of the vehicle at speed.

If you have air suspension on your car, you can purchase adjustable links and simply reverse the process of lengthening and shortening the front/rear links…..do the reverse of adjusting the links to lower the ride height. This will actually raise your suspense in each setting.
