The Porsche tracker fob is such an awkward shape, I used to keep it in my wallet, but recently bought one of these, still not ideal but an improvement. What do you do, other than leave it in the car?

It slightly defeats the purpose if you keep the fob with the keys as suggested in those pictures. I do keep it in my wallet which I tend to keep away from my car keys unless heading out in the car.

I agree, its a horrible shape. The older Vodafone branded fobs with my Panamera at least were flat and thin. The wedge shape of this is terrible.

I use a zip wallet from Australian brand Bellroy:

I bought one of those Coupland holders too. Have an AirTag attached. Seems to do the job pretty nicely. Usually throw it in a bag if I’m carrying one (or wife’s handbag), otherwise in pocket and keep key in other pocket.

It is a pain and we feel obligated to have this additional level of security. Not sure it is actually relevant on the Taycan given the car is always on line and therefore could be tracked if stolen. It may help with insurance premiums (but that's a moveable feast in itself) but I'm a little skeptical now of its purpose / requirement (I've had one for years on my Porsches).

I've just got my car and working out best to carry the tracker fob and keep it separate from the car keys. Has anyone stumbled across a more modern case / holder, perhaps a hard carbon fibre one or similar? I know I'm going to end up leaving it behind as I don't carry house keys with me every time I go out!
