Hello All....I am thinking to have my Tacan 4S wrapped in PPF. Looking for some advise based on your experience. Any recommendation on brand between Suntek and Legend? Based on some online reviews, it seems Suntek is better than XPE but if you disagree, can you provide your comment?

There is not a meaningful difference between the higher end PPF brands that you mention….marketing hype mostly. It is most important to go with a great installer. Any of these brands will easily outlast your ownership with regular maintenance.

At least as important as the brand and type of film is the method of install: pre-cut from template vs. bulk film cut by hand. Pre-cut requires less labor and skill to install, so it's most common and least expensive. The downside is that pre-cut film leaves visible edges that accumulate grime. A bulk film installer will do everything it takes, such as removing more parts and deeply stretching the film over curved surfaces like mirror housings, to eliminate visible edges. This takes more time and experience, so bulk film install will cost at least double the price of a template-cut install. But the results are significant enough to make it worthwhile if you plan to keep the car.

What @Genau said. It's the installer. Surface prep and installation are way more important than the brand of PPF used. And a good installer, who stands behind their work, will use a quality PPF. I've had Xpel on two cars (just because that was what the installer used) in a hot and sunny climate and had no noticeable deterioration after 4 years on the oldest PPF.

I agree with the people emphasizing the installer and letting them choose what product they feel confident working with. My Taycan has STEK DYNOshield.
