I wouldn't drive my car without it. I too got Stek, there is some distortion which I don't see anymore because learned to look through it.
2 years so far, but I don't drive in the rain or use my wipers.
I just got over 30 rock chips on the windshield PPF today. If I didn't have it protected, it would looks like snow on the glass.
It has also saved me 3x from having to replace the entire windshield from larger rocks hitting it
