Newbie in forum and looking to buy Taycan Turbo. In the beginning I wanted to have Turbo S, but possible cost of renewing ceramic rotors did low my “wishes” to own one
Now I have pretty slick Turbo on sight, but when the dealer changed the tires I did notice some extensive rust on the brake disc. Is this normal for these PSCB to rust like that?
Also, I know Porsche recommends to do brake maintenance after 6 years (car is 2020), does that mean the pads or discs too?
And lastly, what is the “life expectancy” of those discs? I read somewhere that they should last 1.5 times more than normal steel discs.
Thanks for the advices already in advance
