Rear dash cam for CT...

I am wondering if anyone installed a rear dash cam for CT. I would like to learn how the cable should be go.

I routed my rear cam wire through the top plastic that surrounds the rear window, through the weather stripping for the rear hatch, in the top passenger side roof until it met the C Pillar, down the c pillar, under the plastic for the sills until the passenger side foot well fuse box, up the a-pillar (behind weather stripping), through the roof lining to the camera.
