How can you tell from driving the car that it has rear wheel axel without looking the spec sheet and no other car to compare. Is there anything on the dashboard or the middle screen can tell. Thanks

Maybe mount a camera pointing to the back wheels and record driving a circle ?
Or find a big flat parking space, make a circle and measure it? ?
Or put the car in drive, make a full turn, jump out and see what the back wheels do while the car slowly turn straight again? (To be honest, I don't even know if the car will continue to drive or detects the driver is gone and slams the brake)

look at how the rear wheel is mounted ... or take off the wheel and look for the same thing.... seems to be it should be fairly easy to see whether the rear wheel is mounted to something that could turn (be steered) or not.....

stop mid-turn while full lock. I have yet to check this myself as my car lives at the service center these days... but it feels like a golf, or at least nearly. Quite a bit easier To park than my old A8 D3

Nothing obvious to determine whilst in the vehicle.

Short of asking someone to look (closely) whilst you turn full lock whilst in reverse (say) then the only accurate way of telling is to ask for all the product codes used in your manufacture (based on VIN) to look for the one that corresponds to Rear Axle Steering.

As mentioned before the angle of turn is almost imperceptible (6 deg or so) but with an observer they will notice something. Effect is more pronounced in Sport Plus mode I believe.

The steering ratio is a bit quicker with rear axle steering and you get power steering plus. Hard to tell.

Almost certainly. A restart of the car generally makes it go away.
