Your spec is very similar to my car! The only thing I would recommend is the Rear Wheel Steering (which includes the Power Steering Plus). It makes a huge impact on the handling of the car and improves the turning circle and low-speed maneuverability. I also specced the Porsche InnoDrive including Adaptive Cruise Control 'cos I'm a gadget freak. Seriously though, if you do a lot of UK motorway driving, it's a great system.

Thanks, assuming I’m at budget though I’m not sure what I’d sacrifice in order to add those options really. The innodrive doesn’t appeal too much to me. The RWS I was on the fence about but not sure what I’d sacrifice on current spec

Hi all
This will be a company lease and I’m trying to stick to some sort of a sensible budget.

Waiting for my freeze date any thoughts on the build?

I would get the ACC and skip the Innodrive for right now as you can get it FOD and try it before you buy it. I hear all kinds of negative things about it right now and as long as you have ACC, you can add it later. I would consider at least 14 way seats as I believe the 8 way are not comfortable. I got 18 way on mine. I am not sure you need the black PORSCHE on the back unless you are looking for a blackout look which also includes the Taycan logo on the trunk. I think it will get lost in the rear but that it totally a personal thing. You have all the should haves. RWS is nice but it won't be the end of the world if you don't get it.

Interesting. Yes the black logo is one I’ve debated .... esp on quite a dark colour already. It might be better on a light colour. Can’t find any pics of it either. I’ll ask on the main group to see if anyone can shed any light.

Fair point on the ACC , food for thought

Thanks

I like this better but keep the window trim black. It will save you money too and people will be able to see the PORSCHE better.

I'd lose the black rear strip.

Spec otherwise looks good - except I really would be looking at full leather. The demo I drove had the standard leather and it's in no way befitting of a car of this value/standard. I do appreciate it's a relatively significant cost but let's face it you spend the majority of the time sat behind the wheel and in the seats.

I will say that I was lukewarm on Innodrive based on some early issues I had, but interestingly it has gotten better, I suspect due to some change to nav data (since my car hasn't been in the shop for any SW updates). There are several places where Innodrive used to freak out and read the speed limit from an intersecting road or access road. It no longer does that, and I'm much happier and more confident using it now.

Also, it has one cool feature that I feel is amazing for unfamiliar twisty roads: even when it's not actively guiding the car, it will show in the driver assistance display an arrow for the upcoming turn indicating how sharp it is. Kind of like having a co-driver do pace notes in a rally car. The funniest thing is that I first noticed this driving the Taycan on the track at the Porsche Experience Center in LA. But it has remained true on mountain roads here at home.
