I just got back from my first road trip with my new Taycan and everything was GREAT! Love the car, however as I was arriving home I noticed that the first Dash Cluster that displays the Road Signs is stuck on 65mph. I've turned car off and on but when everything boots up it's still on 65mph. Any ideas why this is happening?

Thanks

mine did that - but at 60mph - after I first got it. Thought about taking it back to dealer but the next time I drove it I noticed it was operating as it should.....

Ok I’ll see if it changes. Although I did start the car (without driving) and it was still on 65.

one more for you, I was using my General Profile to charge at home stopping at 85%. Now when I plugged in after my trip it’s not stopping at 85% but my profile is active on the PCM.

Sorry for all the questions.

This has happened to me a couple of times - maybe 2-3 times. I did the same - shut the car down when a got home and then re-started it. Same problem - Heads up display and Road Signs showed 60MPH sitting in my garage........................ Shut the car off and did not re-start until next morning. Problem solved. Not sure why but it seems to me that the computer and/or sensors lock-up and just stop thinking. A long rest makes the problem go away.

You'll need to add a timer in addition to your profile to end the charging process.

Mine (2021 4s) hangs at a speed frequently; I would say during at least 30% of my trips at some point the symbol will hang. It resets after the car is shut off for a short while. This should be addressed.

Thanks. Sure enough today the car is not stuck on 65mph….I guess the computer has a glitch.

This really is lame - this tech has been out for years - has worked seamlessly in my M4 for the last 6 years, never experienced a single issue with it. Porsche seem to be having an unreal amount of issues with software implementation in this car!

yes, the tech failures in the taycan are not being well reported on and will become a serious blemish on porsche's reputation if the EV media ever reported on posts on this forum like they do on the tesla forums
