Huge difference with Michelin Pilot Sport 4s over the stock Goodyear F1s that come on the RS E-Tron GT.

NVH is so much better. I wish the Michelin came on the car from the factory.

Between lowering it 10mm and these tires, it's a much better performing car.

Have had the 4S on a few different cars and love them.

Will be checking their N rating when it's time to change.

I had the PS4S on my ICE Audi and loved the handling and low NVH. It's also important to set the air pressure properly as stated in the owner manual for your loading, and not just use the pressures listed inside the door, to get the best performance out of the tires. When I adjusted my pressure the improvements were night and day.

I never thought tires mattered that much, but @f1eng trained me well

i only drive on Michelin Pilot Sport espcially on race track. The pressure is always important to check and also to reduce if you will have high temperatures to be driven.

Pirelli has for me always excessive wear.

I'm noticing how sticky they are because I hear more rocks hitting the undercarriage and much more rocks collecting

yeah the collected pickup is much higher with them.

if the tires are cold you have less. But with an also well temperatured road you will take all with you whats there.

Thats always fun on the first round on the race track to get them cleaned up ;)

Hello,
Have you tried the Continental SportContact 7 ?
I really like this tire, but the PS4S seems to perform better overall.
I'm not sure if I should make the switch — what do you think ?

For performance and handling, PS4S can't be beat.
It's not for efficiency, but for performance

I’m a bit confused, as English is not my native language... did you mean the PS4S can’t be beat ?
Right now, I’m getting around 8,000 km out of my tires. I’m not looking for efficiency or longevity, but true performance.
Since the E-Tron is very sensitive to tires, I want the best option to really bring out the chassis. With regular tires, it’s impossible to fully tap into the car’s potential.

Sorry, I meant can't be beat.

I got almost 32k km on my stock Goodyear tires.
PS4S was 16k km for the front tires. They don't last long but performance is superior.

For the cars potential, PS4S is the way, just don't expect a long life

Continental SportContact 7 vs Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S

Based on the tire test data and user reviews we have in our database, the Continental SportContact 7 has demonstrated better overall performance in this comparison.

Our favorite every-day performance tyre that delivers fast laps on dry circuits while being safe for the daily commute, having won multiple tests in wet conditions.
