I suspect your passenger trim was damaged by the dealer by careless wiping of the panel (mine was delivered this way - mentioned it at pick up but not been back in 10 months to have it replaced - film might be easier).

Sorry I wasn’t clear. The passenger screen was scratch free when it arrived but had minor scratches after three years. They were very noticeable in the sun. I was careful and only ever used a lens cloth so this time i am getting ppf applied.

Reminds me of my grandma. She had plastic covers over the couch and table so nothing would get dirty. It was disgusting to the touch.
No, I'd rather stick to the feeling of touching a pane of glass than plastic.
I don't put protective covers over the leather seats either.

It’s not, just enjoy the car and stop worrying about what the next owner inherits.

I find this spray/microfibre combo is very good and convenient for avoiding scratches when cleaning the display screens …

If your kids scratch the small glass in the back of the Taycan, I assume they simply shred the leather, scratch all the panels inside, windows, roof liner or glass roof must be in danger to be scratched up too, etc. Are you covering the entire interior in film?

And the exterior?

I think this a bit of a ripoff too. I bought this from AliExpress for 1/3 of the cost and covers the entire dash. Got my wrap guy to install it and still cost me less. I'll admit the fit could be a little tighter, but it covers way more.

Finger prints is the main driver - OCD kicks in and well the rest is history - not scratches. Plastic surfaces where the Passenger Display is not installed in 99 / 100 scratches with hairline scratches from the factory.

Finger prints I can certainly see if they prevent that, particularly the lower center screen. Surprisingly top screens don't get finger prints on mine.

You liked these? I tried them and after a day, they were returned. They aren't anti-glare which was part of the reason. The curved piece is tacky on the side facing outwards which attracts dust. I wasn't putting up with that.

Have the same, can confirm this is a great set. It really reduces the amount of fingerprints you see on the screen.
