Hi All,

Looking to see if anyone else has had any similar experience as I believe this is a common fault.

I noticed a few weeks ago that my Taycan wasn't really warm, not an issue when the weather was warmer. However, as soon as the temperature dropped it was clear that the heating wasn't working other than seats and steering wheel.

I called Porsche assistance and now my car was found with a high voltage heating fault. They've advised me that they've ordered a new part but have no indication of when it will arrive. Wondering if anyone recently has had a similar issue as trying to gauge whether I'll be without the car for weeks or months given shortages/Xmas etc.

Lastly, I was given a car (Merc CLA 220d) by Enterprise - process was smooth to be fair. However, if my car is not available for a few months I don't really want to be driving it for any length of time, it's not a great car and I don't think it's a suitable replacement.

That said I'm sure there's little Enterprise can do and "it is what it is" but wanted to check if others with similar problems or lengthy maintenance timeframes have been offered anything else.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Michael,
Mine was collected last Friday after calling Porsche Assistance. Has been 6 days since & not a word from Porsche Hatfield.
In the meantime on My Porsche App have noticed the range fall from 215 miles to 148 miles today without moving. Never had that issue in my 18 months of ownership.
I was given a BMW 4 Series Grand Coupe by Enterprise but not prepared to drive for months whilst waiting for the Taycan to be repaired.

Hi, mine is in for the same thing. Luckily i was taking the car in its for its first service and told them about it at the time. They acknowledged it was a known issue and consequently gave me their 'emergency' Taycan instead of the Audi A3 they were expecting to give me. Its the dealerships car though so at some point im expecting they might want it back.

I know someone else with the same issue and Porsche Assist have left them an A3. They're not happy and rightly so!
