I have 21' taycan exclusive summers on my 2021 4s and, since winters are not that harsh in my country, I am thinking of going with a second set using 19' rims for the winter period with all season tyres. I prefer 19' over 20' to maybe win a bit of range - which we lose anyway because of the winter temps. Mine doesn't have the PCCB brakes so 19' rims can fit.
Rear tyres factory spec for 19' rims is 275/45r19, which is close to inexistent in Europe for all-seasons (only options for summer/winter tyres available). On the other hand, I can find premium all seasons with very good reviews in the 285/45r19 size. Front tyres are not an issue - easy to find all season for the factory spec.
It seems that 285/45r19 is very close in diameter and overall size (https://www.calculator.net/tire-siz...5&car2=45&cws2=19&ctype=2&x=Calculate#compare)

Do you think it's doable? Any thoughts?

Haven't bought it yet... But I'll definitely go with the factory spec 19 rim, meaning
19 inches - 10.0 J, ET 47.0, 5/130

Thanks - my experience from other cars is that as long as you lie within a 3% in tyre size difference you are fine in 99% of the cases. No problems with the Esp nor braking etc. Just wanted to make sure that 285/45r19 isn't a "no-go" for any not-so-obvious reason on the taycan. Pity there aren't any all season options for the factory spec 275/45r19 in Europe....
Would prefer to go 19' instead of 20' for the all season, to win some range in the winter period...there are B class energy efficient tyres in Europe for 285/45r19, like the Michelin crossclimate2 which has a lot of positive reviews

During my visit to the Taycan factory tour, I was surprised to see a significant number of cars leaving the production line with 19-inch wheels fitted. I had assumed that this would be rare, but it seemed that most rear-wheel-drive Taycans on the day I visited had 19-inch wheels, with Hankook iON NF0 tyres being particularly popular.

Doesn't make any difference.
The front and rear motor aren't physically connected to each other.
With ICE 4WD car that's a real issue (outside tolerance that is), not with electric cars.
Inverters/motors are torque-driven and not speed-driven.
