A 'saved' Smart Lift location is remembered every time the car reaches that location. My question is: For what DISTANCE does the car remain 'lifted'? A steep driveway would be approached very slowly, whereas urban traffic calming might be approached at 30mph / 50kph. Thanks for any insight.

I find approaching a Smart Lift location that it takes a bit for the GPS to catch up to the car. I need to slow to 15mph or so and kind of wait for the GPS to catch up. Car stays lifted until car exceeds 15mph or so. In one spot I need to slow way down, make a turn into a parking lot and park the car. It will remain in the lifted position until I get back on the road and exceed 15mph (or so).

Thanks Wakesurfer, that's helpful!

When approaching a saved Smart Lift position, Taycan must be traveling 20 mph or less before lifting will begin.

Once activated, it is speed sensitive and will remain lifted until you exceed that speed around 19 mph from memory). Car will remain raised when powered off.

Drive too fast and SmartLift won't activate do slow right down on approach to ensure activation and to give NAV a chance to catch-up with your location.

Is there any issue in leaving the car ‘lifted’ when parked?

No not really.

What you need to be mindful off is that the car may lower over time and therefore end up resting on a raised kerb or similar.

Leaving overnight is fine but for weeks on end not recommended.

I’m thinking about when the Smartlift raises the car to go into my drive and then I park in the garage without remembering to lower it again.
Sounds like it’s a non-issue.
