Speaking about connectivity… i‘m not counting anymore, how often my car is not connected to the server even when it’s parked in a place with a strong LTE.

also, every day CarPlay (apple music) stops working, then i’m getting SOS error (with red light on the roof)…and when it happened, i just wait until Carplay comes back. Mostly it takes few seconds, up to a minute… sometimes i have to connect (or restart) my iphone (maybe once a month).

don;t even mention all bugs and inconsistent behaviour at all!

bottom-line: Porsche software sucks! someone should be fired months ago!!!
i;m running software company for more than 20 years…if we would make such lousy solutions, we would have gone out of business…19 years ago.

I have the same problem since 1st July, maybe coincidentally after the installation of ONA7.
Two finger reboot doesn’t work.
Pulling the 12v battery doesn’t work.
Deleting app and reinstalling doesn’t work.
Removing account from car doesn’t work, and now I can only log in as Guest.

No connectivity means no tracker, among other things, so if your insurance is dependent on the tracker then no insurance.

The Connect support have been no help, and the dealer has not been able to help.
Let’s hope it is server side and solvable soon.

Mine is still in the shop. Now waiting for a secondary tracker so I can use it. Been told another delay of 10 days before that can be done! I think I’ll put a deposit down on a Lucid and move this half baked car on.

Dealer won't be able to solve it. It's stuff in Germany (as pointed out by many here). I was at my dealer last week for "service" - big one for Switzerland, saw 19 Taycan on site (customers' and dealers').

They admitted one of their own cars had the same issue for a few days, allowing guest-only access to PCM and no connectivity despite a full LTE signal. Delete account->new account->try to log in->fail-> park/close car -> come later ->try -> fail-> ...ad libitum. Eventually it worked for them. Same in my case (but now it's again offline)

As pointed out by @tigerbalm here earlier, nobody knows why on other Porsche cars with identical PCM this does not happen (at all or it's 1% of the same problem). Also, it's summer holidays in Germany if anything solution will be even slower.

I can login to the server, but car doesn't.

My car, which had been connected predictably and had then spontaneously been unable to connect with the Porsche Server since June 26 has now re-established connection on its own.

I had previously tried the following, with no success:
1. Deleted the Connect and My Porsche apps and reinstalled
2. Logged out of my profile in the vehicle, then back in
3. Logged out of my profile on the myporsche website, then back in
4. Pulling fuses by the dead pedal
5. Disconnecting and reconnecting the 12V battery
6. Generally trying everything I could think of

The issue seemed to be completely on the server end, having nothing to do with the car or any of my settings.

Nope and not for days now.
As I updated my previous post: last time, my car was logged to the server yesterday, at 16:23 time (parked at home arround 16.00 hours).

edit: just checked Connect app…and car is connected to the server.

nope, no car connection today. was working last week after not communicating for about 10 days at the start of July.

nope, no car connection today. was working last week after not communicating for about 10 days at the start of July.
Strange….i’ve been back in about 24 hours…

My connection start working yesterday after I have been disconnected for two weeks. I deleted my account and added it again and it worked! I have been trying all the tricks recommended on this forum before without success. We will see if it continues to work or not. Had some problems yesterday with the car going into privacy mode after locking the car so I couldn’t access the settings in the app, have tried to remove the privacy mode but it have reversed by the car again.. looks like it worked yesterday (3-4 tries) today I can access the app!

For my USA Taycan owners, please report this to us at the 1-800-PORSCHE number, asking for the Digital team. I have a specific ticket to file this under and check your VIN to see if it falls in the specific category of Taycans that are affected by this outage. Same with any Canadian brethren, as we handle you all as well.

my best guess is, this timestamp is reflecting the last sync with the old backend and the PCM client isn't able to update that part because the name has changed :)
