Hi, last week, Spotify disappeared from my PCM. It had been working fine up to then, but now it is nowhere to be seen...! I have looked at all of the options, and it says that it is "active" when I look at the PCM services list, but it is just not there. I did a reset on the PCM tonight, and still no joy. Has anyone else had this issue? The car goes in on Monday for another issue, so will ask them to reinstall it, but I really wanted it back sooner. Thanks.

Common issue. The only resolution is wait and it comes back after a few days.
There is no known procedure to get it back or reinstall. I see this happen to me from time to time on a 2023. However, on a 2022 that I drove a few years back it was very common to lose XM all together (no sign of XM in the PCM) and you just wait for it to come back.

Thanks @SergeyIndy . I thought that a reset would help, but alas no joy. At least I have Android Auto...but prefer Spotify in the PCM as the sound is better.

I will wait to see if it returns.

Same problem here. I lost Spotify, Apple Music, Apple Podcasts and Online Radio last Fall. They all suddenly returned last week, then disappeared again today. I've been working with Porsche tech support since last November and they never found the cause of this. This week they suggested I take the car back into the dealership, which is where I began this journey.
In the PCM, go to Settings | Privacy and Porsche Connect Settings | Overview of All Porsche Connect Service and check Apple Music, Apple Podcasts, Radio Plus, and Spotify. They should all be marked "Contract Valid" and "Active". If they are grayed out, it's the same problem I had.

Hi Steve, it was a different problem for me as Spotify was showing as active. However, this morning miraculously it reappeared. All very strange.

I hope you manage to sort out your issue.

Glad it is back and appeared back as I was hoping it would.

My 2020 does that sporadically. One or more than one of the media options will be missing. Even FM radio. Almost like an Easter Egg: which media choices will I have today? It seems like Spotify and Apple Music end up missing more than others. Although it could just be me noticing them more as I use them more. The PCM software is a complete bag of crap.

Same for me with 2022 CT Turbo, I've tried to reconnect but I'm getting all sorts of errors - Android Auto Spotify works fine so I'm not without my vibes but it does seem odd. Anyone else seeing the same errors of have any clue how to fix. By the way I don't subscribe to connect services as don't see the value for the cost...

@Paul S I have had that problem before. That seems to happen when the servers are down at Porsche (as I understand it). It seems to resolve itself after a few days in my previous experience.

Thanks @MarkR I'll keep an eye out over the next few days and post of there is any change. My car is going into dealership in April so will mention it to them if it's still not working.

Spotify on my car now says I need to connect via MyPorsche, but it is connected and worked just yesterday. I am past the included 3 year Connect Service and now paying monthly, but it seems Porsche can't keep their paid subscription working ok (when the 3 included years ended, I paid for new subscription within a couple of hours, took them a few days to activate it). If it wasn't for the remote precondition and charging monitoring, I wouldn't bother paying for the service - it's amateur hour for professional service prices. No wonder they include a decade of it for free now, people get more annoyed when something they pay for is not working. Really sad to see a once great car company starting to become a relic of old times, like horse drawn carriages - no matter how great they are, only an extremely niche market left. Makes me think of Sony BetaMax machines, or Micropolis hard drives, or BlackBerry phones (if you haven't heard of those, they used to be the Porsche in their respective fields, BlackBerry used to be a synonym for a smartphone like iPhone is now or Google for search, now nobody knows the names anymore).

I remember those days. I had 2 Blackberry's in my time. My first looked just like a calculator...😂

I had a few BlackBerries, including their venture into Android OS (without licensing from Google, so no Google services like Play Store, nor any apps which relied on Google services). Funny thing, they actually worked reliably - perhaps because they were not reliant on cloud services to do everything, and were not a loosely tied collection of lowest bidder vibe coded software.

I might be dating myself, but my first cell phone came in a bag and had an actual handset on a wire from the main cell phone body in the bag. I remember the revolution that StarTac phones started - I had a couple of those too before BlackBerry, then Windows Mobile phones (starting with Pocket PC version), then eventually a few Android phones, then landed on iPhone (on my second iPhone now, first one was iPhone 13, now iPhone 17).

Yes my Spotify and Apple Music/Podcasts vanished on Friday. Was back on Saturday though....
