I’ve had my new 2025 Taycan for a month. 4S Cross Turismo.

I have black leather interior with 14 way comfort seats and some trim carbon fiber.

For the past 2 weeks, I have had consistent squeaking from the driver’s seat. It’s not friction or rubbing. It’s the entire seat. It’s just kinda creaky. It happens with g forces to the car with maneuvering. I’m not talking racing. Just normal daily driving.

I would compare it to an office chair when you lean or recline.

Is this a known or normal thing? Can I expect it to settle or break in? Or do I need to get this to service?

I’ve had a lot of nice German cars, including previous Macan with the 14 way comfort seats. Never noticed any issues before. Pretty sure it didn’t sound like that the first week or so, but hard to place it for sure with new car excitement. I’ve given this a couple weeks and really no improvement.

Do you have it in the lowest setting?

If yes, lift it just a tiny bit, a couple mm. Should be fixed.

It's either that or you have to grease some stuff inside, my dealer knew immediately what to do. But just a tap on the button that moves it up solves the issue completely.

I get it periodically, just move the seat a bit so the grease moves a bit and then reset it in the original position it was squeaking in, it should fix it.

Had this same issue on my first Taycan and I can confirm that this is what “fixed” it for me.

This worked for me - I like to sit low in my 18 way seats in my GTS, but when it was all the way to the lowest setting I was getting a squeak now and again. I lifted it a tiny amount and the squeak vanished. Problem solved :like:

Can confirm it worked.

I wasn’t on the lowest setting but close. I just adjusted every setting back and forth then restored to memory and it was fine. 5 min saved me after 2 weeks of building annoyance!

Thanks!

Yes I had it on my 2020 4S and was annoying. Mentioned it when it went in for a service and has been fine ever since. Unfortunately they didn't tell me what they did.....
