Yes, but Austria has an annoying rule that you have to purchase it at least 14 days in-advance of activating it. I think its because you have 14 days to "change your mind" – so they want to avoid people doing so while its in operation.

And finding a shop that sold the damn thing in the remote border crossing we used the first time – was harder than I expected.

Anyways, we know now and the digital option worked well on our last trip.
Not if you have a company account like I have. I can activate quicker than that. I don’t know why it would make a difference but I think it has something to do with 14 days money back for private customers. I don’t know either if you can just check for company account or have to sent a TVA number

edit : just checked and it is the 14 days money back for private customers that is the problem and that is voided for companies.

Hi, just to make sure: no one in CH has received the ARB6/ARB7 OTA update yet?

So.... let's blame trixxiee's slow testing that delayed the release for the other ones of us ? 🙃 ;)
Only the happy very-very-fews received it, not yet available to most of us. Com'on Porsche!

I would suspect it's by Country in descending VIN manufacturing order. His is a 2023, so you should be the next one to get it within days, since yours is a 2022

I'm quite a bit ways off, with my 2020, it was the same with the previous OTA update, which I got around 1 month after you.

Their OTA infrastructure must be quite punny and small sized for them to have such a slow rollout.

At risk of sounding like "billy no mates" but how about a Swiss Taycan drive/meet up?
OK, German,French, Italian Frontaliers also included :)
I've got a friend with some BMW M cars, he just did a mountain pass drive and meet around Interlaken, looked like a great day out.
10 or 20+ Taycans round the Furka/Klausen/Grimsel/Nufenen etc has to be worth a day out and a photo no? Anybody got a drone?
Post your ideas, September only before those mountain passes get too cold.....

"10 or 20+" is probably too large a group to be practical: always waiting for someone; causing a moving traffic jam and annoying other people; etc.
5+ is probably a more realistic size.

Just back from a fantastic "petrol-powered" week in Switzerland. Driving our 911 Targa on some of the most familiar roads and passes that we've done many times in our Taycan.

We were blessed with the weather, getting what I think was the last weekend of summer.

Porsche Taycan Swiss Taycan owners IMG_6622

Being able to keep our roof down for most of our time there.

Porsche Taycan Swiss Taycan owners IMG_6618

And getting to enjoy the unexpectedly warm evenings on Lake Maggiore.

Porsche Taycan Swiss Taycan owners IMG_6636

It felt like all the 911's in the world had converged at our hotel in Andermatt for the last weekend of sun.

With even a queue of 911s at check-in when we arrived.

We had a superb day driving the busy passes – and even in traffic or being limited to 60 km/h – its very enjoyable in a Targa when the sun is shining and the roof is down.

Stopping off for plenty of pictures on the Tremola.

Including from our flying Hasselblad.

Which was our the first flight of our new DJI Mavic 4.

Despite losing count of the number of 911s we saw this weekend – well over 100 – this was the only other Targa we came across.

Taking the car train through a pass when it proved to be more efficient.

Porsche Taycan Swiss Taycan owners IMG_6962

Where we saw the strangest and most specific EV related sign I think we've ever seen. Can only imagine the story that led to this being installed!

Porsche Taycan Swiss Taycan owners IMG_6955

Thankfully we carry the correct spec engine oil for top-ups – something an EV never required. Putting 450 ml of oil in the impressive public car park at Täsch after an evening spent up in Zermatt.

Porsche Taycan Swiss Taycan owners IMG_6939

The 911 size – when compared to a Taycan – is so much easier to maneuver around the passes and Italian lakes and squeeze into car parking spaces.

Porsche Taycan Swiss Taycan owners IMG_6520

Considering the number of high-performance cars around Andermatt – it is surprising that the local Shell garage only sells regular 95 octane.

Porsche Taycan Swiss Taycan owners IMG_7255

We did charege up on Shell V-Power 99/100 octane when we could.

Porsche Taycan Swiss Taycan owners IMG_7625

Resulting in a seriously noticeable increase in range (though not really in power).

Porsche Taycan Swiss Taycan owners IMG_5890

Having to often go into the kiosk/shop to pay for fuel is a pain though compared to EV charging. Appreciate that there is an increasing number of self-service payment options for petrol appearing, but very rare in Germany.

Porsche Taycan Swiss Taycan owners IMG_7691

Heading back to Ireland as the forecasted rain started to fall on Sunday.

Porsche Taycan Swiss Taycan owners IMG_7643

Porsche Taycan Swiss Taycan owners IMG_7648

Walking past the busy charging stations with an increasing number of small two door EV options available.

Porsche Taycan Swiss Taycan owners IMG_7676

Thank you Switzerland for yet another super enjoyable week driving – our first not in an EV!
