Greetings from Zion in Utah! On Friday, I drove my Taycan 4 Cross Turismo from Denver West. We were supposed to do the drive in two days and get to Zion, however, the weather had a different idea. I drove over Vail Mountain Pass (10,662 feet, 3,250 meters) in the middle of a white out blizzard. Snow had accumulated to 8 inches (20 cm), unplowed. The Taycan performed admirably. I never felt unsafe. My visibility was shockingly good considering the snow falling made it look like we were doing warp speed. Someone spun out right next to us, bouncing off the barrier and came back toward us, I accelerated so as not to get hit. The car lost traction, regained it immediately.
Then I took it over snow, a LOT of snow, while trying to get it to the snow covered charger here. No problems! (The Tesla got stuck, though.) This morning, I decided to risk going over what probably was 6-7" of snow with an initial 'lip' of snow about 10". She plowed through it like butter. You can see a silver SUV to the left of her (Highland, I think) with AWD. I drove that around, too. Didn't feel anywhere as comfortable driving that.
Only issue I had was the windshield froze quickly. I put it on Max defroster and it worked instantly, but the wipers were frozen. I had to pull over and take the ice off with a towel.
