Got my TTS in December 2023. Porsche just called and said it's due for service. I have 7k miles on it.

Isn't the Taycan only serviced every two years?

It's winter and they need to make payroll ;)

Seriously, ask why. Maybe it's a TSB or even a recall?

Likely a recall or campaign..Mine is in right now getting 4 (yes, FOUR!) recall/campaigns done (and it will have one left to do sometime in the (near? far?) future)....love the car but it may have needed a little more testing before releasing it into the wild, eh?

Other than recalls, it's likely just pollen filter. Brake fluid every 2 years, but brake hose recall would have flushed the fluid too.

If you pay for this, make sure you negotiate a good rate. (Is dealer labor even negotiable? ) If you're handy, you can do the filter yourself.

My own plan is to document my own filter change and have an indie shop do my brake fluid. I have PSCBs, so "lifetime" part for my ownership horizon.

Interesting - I was worried I will slightly exceed the 30.000 km service limit by the 4 year mark next month.
Asked the Porsche center and they confirmed in writing that the only requirement for the Taycan is servicing every 2 years, period.

Goes against everything I read online and there's nothing in my contract, PCM entries are all scrambled.
Do you know otherwise? Thanks

They are wrong. It actually tells you in the app.
Open the app, go to vehicle details, and it's right there, first thing under overview tab which is the default one. It fades from date to km left until inspection - whichever comes first, km or date.

The guys at dealerships are 9/10 times absolutely clueless about any given topic :D They only know car prices, and even then, they may be wrong.

Yeah, I figured - good thing I'm going in this week.

The mobile app says service is due 'NOW' - this is probably right as you said.
PCM says it was due in Jan 2025 - obviously wrong.
The service advisor says next month is fine.
One would expect they'd know better for 300,- EUR per hour ;)

They do allow you to be late for a few days or max 2000km; from what I know from my own experience.
Late by a whole month... not so sure.
