I just got my '09 997.2S out of winter storage, and took it over to Opening Day at Watkins Glen.
It's always great to get it out in the Spring after a cold, dark winter.
I find that the Taycan and the 911 complement one another. I love them both, but will be torn when the Cayman E becomes available.

Fantastic. I thought I might be the first to reply ... clearly not!

My journey has been:

- Mercedes e-class cab
- 2020 Taycan Turbo
- 2022 Taycan GTS
- 2023 911 Targa GTS

The merc was great, decent as a 4 seater, but a cruiser not a sports car.
The Taycan Turbo was good looking, fast and an incredible car to do longer distances in.
But, still craving the sports car, I followed through with a Taycan GTS to my own spec.
I loved it and would have happily kept it but it is still a large car and over 2,000kg.
So ... I considered a Cayman or 911. In many ways, the Cayman GTS 4.0 would have been perfect but it's got older tech in it.
The 911 has is very much the real deal in terms of fire-breathing, noisy IC fun, but with all the latest tech. It will be replaced by hybrid and then full electric, so why not go for a last roll of the IC dice!

In my garage I now have:
- Mini Electric - great fun for short distances and sharp corners
- 911 GTS - for the very pinnacle of IC technology with all the bells and whistles

Likely followed by an all-electric Cayman when it becomes available!
