After reading the article in OP, California legislature will require HEPA filters for DC chargers.

Almost everything in California is officially known to the California government to cause cancer, which should finish of the residents quicker than fan blown dust at EV charging stations.

• diesel trucks with emissions defeat so they can coal-roll on demand drive up to EA stations
• they back into the stalls - and then gun the motor gushing massive amounts of black-soot (cause it's healthy soot) into the air which settles down next to the EA charging stall
• the EA charging stall's cooling fans then when charging at 800V whip up the coal rolling dust that has settled next to the station and you breath it in while on hold with eA customer support for 20-30 minutes attempting to get your free charging session…

there I've proven that EV's are less healthy than soot-generating diesel trucks…

That's a really interesting article.

When I say really interesting, I actually mean it is a pile of 5hite.

But interesting to see the depths the pro oil lobby stoop to, just to make an anti EV headline.

I better find my N95 mask from Covid times, so that I can look like a complete Dillon while the car is charging.
In fact I better get a full Hazmat suit to be totally safe.

Or, the other option is not to lie on the floor next to the fan on the charger gasping, and go inside the coffee shop and have a nice grilled panini and a Flat White instead.

Difficult choice.
