Third Time Not a Charm!

Hi everyone... I noticed a crack in my panoramic roof on my CT4S MY23 and took it to dealership. After assessing the area they identified the crack starting from the roof bars. They also saw no scratches or bumps on the bars and as such agreed to fix under warranty.

Three weeks later new roof arrived and it took them another two weeks to fix. Went to pick up the car afterwards to be surprised that they cracked the new roof while fixing it. After voicing my concern with their lack of capabilities i had no choice but to go home empty handed and wait for roof number 3.

Another three weeks passed and the third roof arrived. On time to get my car back before a major driving event with the boys two weeks later. However, i was yet to be surprised by a crack in the third roof. This time they blamed shipping!!

Fast forward, three weeks later, roof number 4 is here and over the weekend they fixed it without installing the bars yet. I followed up again this morning with the dealership. "We sent the measurements of the seal to Germany for their guidance on how to fix the bars."
I'm here dealing with a bunch of incapable amateurs who doesn't know how to fix a panoramic roof without breaking it. They've had my car for 3 months now and I'm hoping someone might have an idea or suggestion on what to do??

From the prior threads on this topic, it appears that some Taycans have a defect in the area of the metal roof that frames the panoramic glass, and if that defect is not corrected, replacement glass will crack as well. So your shop's technicians are not necessarily amateurs if Porsche has not provided them with troubleshooting for this frame issue.

This make me nervous. I have had my 24 CT for 4 months now and live in FL . I was worried about it cracking due to another post saying that hers cracked due to the UV rays and now this ?? That’s nuts that it’s taken 4 times. I hope it works out for ya this time. I hope they at least gave you a loaner. Freaking sucks . Sorry this is happening. Keep us updated.
