I now have over 1k miles on my 2025 Taycan base model and am loving every second of driving it. A few questions have arisen that I can't find addressed in the manual or here:

1. In the left-hand "tube" of the display, when the green battery graphic is displayed showing the state of charge, there's a number to the left of the graphic giving a value in kW -- e.g.," 27 kW." Does that mean maximum output that's been requested from the battery, or what?

2.(a) Is it possible to set the HVAC system to simply admit fresh air, with no fan, cooling or heating? (b) When manually adjusting the fan control in the center console, with repeated presses on the UP arrow it goes from OFF to no arc segments showing to one arc segment showing, and then increasing numbers of segments with additional presses. What's the difference between OFF, no segments, and one segment? (c) Does the AC always automatically come on, or am I doing something wrong?

3. When the center "tube" is set to display the navigation map, how do I choose preferences like satellite vs. road view, north-up vs. head-up, etc.?

Thanks to all for any wisdom.

1. Left tube changes of the refresh model is the biggest envy of us first gen owners.

Left kW number is a prediction of maximum charge rate at a DC charger that depend on the temperature so to maximize that number the temperature needs to be in the ideal condition within the right bracket. Do not get me started on the feature where the car will actually blame the charger if it is not providing maximum speed the car can consume!

2. My understanding having 3 cars is that there is no such a thing as pure fresh air setting in a Porsche where you can actually feel that the outside air just flows. The best thing is to just set it to Auto and let the car handle it.

3. Map view should be customizable as others said by pressing on the right wheel to pop up additional settings. I cannot verify how it exactly works on the refresh since I have the first gen and I know they have changed tube navigation interface that to me is less intuitive having driven several 2025 Taycans for a day.

Excellent.

Wish I had a J1.II so I could have this feature ?
