trunk opens without key around

Hi,
Today I found that I could open the trunk without the key around by pressing the trunk button on the back.
I thought the key was in my pocket but it was actually 10 meters away at least.
I tried this multiple times, and I could open the trunk every time without the key. The only way to disable this is to disable 'comfort access' on PCM.

Has anyone have this issue? I feel very unsecured now..

What do you mean by pressing the button on the back.
if you caress the bottom of the badge on the trunk it should open it unless if the car is open.

unless the car is locked, that is normal..in my experience..key not being close by does NOT mean the car is locked. I set my mirrors to fold when the car is locked - that's a great visual 'cause it ain't obvious otherwise!

Hmmm it could be a poltergeist. Either that, or the fact that the trunk button works as long as you leave the Taycan unlocked.

It may surprise you but the car doors can be opened too when the car is unlocked, even if the key is no where near. In fact, I'm sure the front doors of your house behaves the same.

Jokes aside, this is normal behaviour in almost every car out there. How do you think valets, bell hops etc.. can open the trunk to unload your luggage? What exactly concerns you?
