not sure how it passed the QA, but it might be helpful to ask the dealer for the exact cause, I mean they should know it, you can also ask the dealer if they know how to replace this kind of roof.

let's say it's the fuse/wire, if each individual rectangle from the VLC is controlled by a separate fuse, this would potentially lead to a higher fail rate, I can't imagine if sth happens after the warranty expired.

It seems that Porsche Newsroom just release an updated article about the VLC that is available on all model variants.

The latest update for my issues:

1. For the VLC issue, the whole panoramic glassroof has to be replaced, dealership has ordered the new parts from Germany.
2. Smart Access can be activated.

so guys whoever ordered VLC please check all functions work well before taking delivery.

I wonder if your VLC roof has been replaced. I am in Indianapolis USA and a GTS delivered to a customer also had one panel (in the middle not responding to going clear). The only fix is to replace the enitire roof.
