A few weeks ago I get the message (attached) in the app saying that the Porsche charging service now supports ubitricity charging (mainly lamppost chargers in London).

But the QR codes are never recognised by the Porsche app when I try to scan them and the Porsche email support is as useless as ever (they literally know nothing!).

has anyone figured out how to get ubitricity to work with the Porsche charging service?

Figured it out. No thanks to the useless Porsche customer service though.

you have to connect the car, then search for the charging point on the map in the Porsche app, then visit the website address on the qr code on the lamppost, get the charge point Id from that webpage, then call ubicity support and ask them to translate this number into the number the Porsche app uses for this charging point, select it in the Porsche app and press to start charging in the app.

Not exactly simple/user friendly but got there in the end!

There seems to be an issue with Shell generally so as the emails states that it’s a member- could explain

Indeed. + this £0.03/MINUTE charge that the Porsche charging service levies makes it more expensive than just paying directly to Shell on these slow chargers!
