Hi all

This may be a strange question. I purchased my turbo about 4 weeks ago. I literally had a call from the dealer to say they had had a cancellation and the car had just arrived, I purchased it the day after. I am the first registered owner. They sent to me by email the list price of the vehicle along with all the optional extras, totalled at the bottom. That was the price I paid for it. I’ve posted this on this forum before.

I had a part exchange of a panamera turbo S e hybrid. Which they have me a trade in value on.

At no point has the government grant been discussed with me and I can’t see anywhere that it’s been accounted for. Having looked into this more, it seems the dealer should have reduced the list price by 3.5k. Does the attached take this reduction into account? If no, what are my options. Does anyone know?

From memory (so sorry if I get the specifics wrong), you would have had to have ordered the car before April 2020 and you dealer will have had to have registered the order before then. After April 2020, I believe that only cars with a list price below £50k are eligible for the grant. Sounds like you purchased a cancelled order, so I don't think you'd get the grant (which would have been recorded against the name of the original owner). I may be wrong, but sorry if I'm right.

Yea this is completely right. I’d my 4S ordered from Sept 19 and got a hurried call in early Feb 20 to say there was a deadline that night (midnight) to get the paperwork complete and into the £3500 EV car scheme before changes took effect - luckily I made it. However it’s a grant that won’t apply to my Turbo PY2021 that is due any day now (lockdown permitting) ... hope that helps ease the anxiety - enjoy the car!

Yes I think you are correct. I remember the Porsche staff having to work late thanks to comments sent in from this forum. Luckily mine was in in time. And they made the deadline.

Sadly no grant (and car is too expensive to be entitled when they were available) for the car and no grant for the Porsche Mobile Charger Connect (if you paid for it as it was free last quarter due to supply issues). Other chargers attract a grant but randomly Porsche's doesn't.
