I am with Admiral multi car and my first year renewal is due in just over a month, so I will post up the quote.

On a side issue, I know nothing at all about PVTS+ other than its something that you can add as FOD.
Has anyone got a link to how it works in layman's terms and how easy it is to use in 'real life'?
Bearing in mind its my first Porsche and I've never had a tracker fitted on any car.

Seamless in use and has been a Porsche stalwart for many years.

Not an FoD option really but a subscription service plus you will need to go to the dealership to get your two additional fobs (tracker fobs which contain the comms) which must be paired to your PCM.

Support thereafter for the service is with Vodafone in UK.

I’ve found occupation makes a big difference to insurance. Some occupations really put the price up so it is worth being creative in what you do.

So my insurance drops to £1100 if i add a second banger. My wife isn’t keen on the Taycan so she is going to get her own car and add to the policy.

Covea came out on top for central London postcode. Still not particularly cheap, but seems like they are less off the shelf and more thoughtful in underwriting than the usual suspects on comparison sites for us without UK NCB.

I’m guessing you have gone through a business insurance company provider like simply business or the like to get this quote as they don’t deal direct and aren’t part of the usual comparison sites ? How different were they against admiral for example ?

yes, got two more or less identical quotes from Covea through specialist brokers for a business owned car. Admiral came out 50%+ more expensive.

Wonder what insurer they use for Darth's flagship Executor.

Heard one of the real reasons AIG went bust was due to their significant exposure to Galactic Empire ships failing from serious mechanical problems.
