I was dealing with Marcus. But luckily had Select Car Leasing also trying to get updates along the way, as like everyone seems to experience, communicating isn’t Porsche’s strength.

@Jin Is it worth adding Production Complete Date to the tracker? Some people may not have it available but if the SA provides it then it may be useful for people to get a feel for the time between the car coming off the production line and the date it is collected.

This is of particular interest to me right now. Mine finishes production tomorrow hopefully and now I'm wondering how long it takes to get here from Germany! I know adding this info to your spreadsheet won't help me, but my experience and that of others who can add the data, might be useful to those still waiting.

added the option towards the end of the form if people want to add, feel free to do so. Could end up with a number of date milestones (date at port, arrival in UK, at dealership etc)

Once we get some data in there, I'll see what we can do with it. As ever, happy for suggestions!

as for my (lack thereof) progress.. I'm afraid to even ask Lex or the dealership given the current stop sales shenanigans going on..

its close to 8 months on placing the order with them... still don't think I'll see allocation till end of year.

Things may have improved slightly, but I didn’t get an allocation until 11 months after ordering.

Updated in other threads but basically my car’s build completed at the start of May, is held in German on a quality hold. Probably affecting a batch with specific build dates. This is in addition to the stop sale!

currently tracking 24 Salary Sacrifice Orders of which 8 have been delivered, 13 waiting for an allocation and one "lucky" guy (@EVGuy101 ) is awaiting his car at the dealer. 2 poor folk have given up and cancelled orders.

If mine wasn't already here and I was still waiting on an allocation I would be talking to the leasing company about any new cars they have in stock. Looking on the Porsche website just now there are over 100 brand new Taycans sitting at dealers.

I have heard from my leasing company that the car is now available…. but (there is always a but)

… the price has gone up, and now the leasing company wants to increase the monthly salary sacrifice amount.

Leasing company apologised that the price increase should have been informed earlier, but are stating that Porsche mentioned nothing until Friday.
This may be accurate, because the leasing company has had no communication with the dealer, never chased up, and only ever reacted whenever I chased them…. so it doesn’t surprise me that they never really communicated with Porsche about any possible price increases..

Negotiations are ongoing… but it appears that Porsche aren’t budging (not even an inch)… and the lease company states that their fine print includes the clause that ‘prices are subject to change’ if manufacturer price changes.

In reality, I am still OK… because at least the lease company is not recalculating the interest rate.. as that would make the purchase untenable (especially with the recent interest rate hikes!).

So, waiting game at the moment.. hopefully, the lease company comes back by tomorrow with an updated price… which I will need to swallow.

I am trying very hard to not let this spoil my excitement of getting the Taycan…

Good news on the allocation and a shame about our the increase. Lex have already warned about Porsche not price guaranteeing and to expect the increase. Whilst I’ve not pushed them on not expecting the interest rate to have changed, I’d expect similar to you in it not changing.
My worry would be given the backlog at Cambridge, I might end up with my MY25 at this rate and have and additional inevitable increase next year..

What I do not understand is why are we all waiting for allocations but Porsche have 100+brand new cars depreciating at a massive rate sitting on forecourts?

Don’t know the exact ‘increased cost’… but it is likely to be something like an additional £100 - £150/month… so something like £4,500 over 3 years or something.

Order process started in May 2022…

All I am now hoping for now is a quick conclusion and getting the car.
