Need to remove a wheel tmrw to repair a curbed alloy.
So I am just wondering what everyone else got in the wheel removal puncture dept?

I have got the locking wheel nut in the front right compartment and a small 3 piece tool kit.

Then a towing eye in the front left compartment.

And that's it I think.

No Compressor, no puncture repair cannister, no assembly aid (in the gtk app).

Just wondering what everyone else has?

Its an "Option" to have the compressor and weld. I didn't spec it. But I will pick up a compressor to sit in the front (plenty for a few £ around) Should sit in the compartment next to the frunk. Many people dont spec it because weld tends to make the tyre non reparable and the TPM can get ruined as well.

Thanks Lars.
I do have a spare Compressor - so that's not a problem.

And makes sense about the options.

What about the 'assembly aid' as shown in the GTK app?

There are a few Wheel guiding pins that helps align the 21 inch wheels very well. They are quite tight to put on the car else with the large brakes and you do not want to scratch your rims or damage your discs.

But why they are shown in the GtK app is a gret question. You need a jack to lift the car in the first place??

Compressor and repair kit are not standard for UK market. The rest is what you need to change a wheel should you have a spare on standby..

If you ever want to change wheels or clean the wheels thoroughly I can highly recommend the pins.

I see....so the 'assembly aids' are also an aftermarket part.

It's bizarre that the manual and GTK app refer to these (as well as a jack, Compressor and puncture foam) and none of them are standard in the UK.

Good luck if you get a puncture where there is no phone signal or access for breakdown recovery.

So what I actually get is......

One locking wheel nut.

Dealers should highlight this when ordering.

Tyre sealant and compressor are noted as country dependent in PGTK App.
