I have owned my 2023 base Taycan for about 3 weeks and I love it. But yesterday, I noticed something kinda weird. While driving, I felt an uncomfortable vibration in my chest and realized it was coming from the seat back. I turned off the seat ventilation and it went away. Tested both front seats with my hand and it was definitely some kind of fan vibration when seat ventilation was on. Now the weird part is just that I’ve had the car for 3 weeks and have enjoyed the ventilated seats but never noticed any vibration until yesterday. Is it normal? Is it possible it only occurs under certain conditions?
I am very surprised there’s any kind of fan/motor inside the seat itself. I would have assumed the mechanical parts were under the hood and that it was just a tube carrying air into the seats. ?
