Help! I accidentally liked the PCM!

I still don't have any problems with the PCM.

Same here. 9 months and 9k miles and no issues.

And I still think it’s one of the best and most beautiful systems I’ve used. I really really love the curved instrument cluster without HUD.

I had a problem just today where Apple Music randomly decided to deauth. I had to reauth in the starbucks line, then when it attempted to play music it did so with constant "loading data" pauses.

I still contend the PCM is the worst I've had across 7 Porsches and I hope they fix it.

You just mean the Apple Music interface isn't working properly sometimes.
It may not even have to do with the actual interface but the internet connection or even the server itself.
Degrading the whole PCM for that is a bit exaggerating imho.

Ok, here's my full list:

• Apple Music frequently buffers to the point of unusability
• Apple Podcasts are unreliable, some podcasts refuse to play while they are fine in the Podcasts app on Carplay
• Calendar displays events on the incorrect days
• Sirius XM frequently fails to start up, taking several minutes before it does
• Favorites list is sometimes empty, sometimes blinking, and sometimes visible but inaccessible for several minutes
• The "mouse" interface with the touch pad is exceedingly frustrating, often highlighting the wrong thing or just managing to avoid the one thing you want to focus on. (I wish it was just a mouse pointer TBH)
• When updates are downloaded, you get spammed with a list that doesn't tell you what they did. You have to manually click through each one to hear "The update was installed successfully."

And to balance it out with some things I like:

• The nav and charging planner (default, not PIRM) work very well.
• I like the map integration with the dashboard screen
• In fact, no complaints at all about the dash or A/C screens
• I love getting OTA map updates vs paying $500 + 3hrs to get them done at the dealer.
• The notion of "content suggestions" on the right side of the nav is good

Aside from nav updates, the only complaint I had on my 991.1 PCM was that using bluetooth audio, the next time you start the car you're in AM radio static.

I still contend this one is the most problematic and frustrating I've used to date. It is the only car I've had where my wife asks "how about some music?" and I respond with "well...I'll try, no promises."
