Can’t believe it but am having the same issues with the tracker in my Taycan that I had 3years ago in my Cayenne.
Constant false alerts 2 yesterday afternoon while the car was parked on my drive.
Anyone else having issues with theirs?

I don’t have much to add other than when I first read the subject I thought it said vodka tracker… and was puzzled what the feature was :)

Best thing to do to resolve this is to use an insurer that does not require PVTS. Saves £260+/year subscription and you no longer need to carry the tracker fobs.

When was the last time you changed the fob battery? I was told the battery need to be changed around 6-7 months. Low battery can give off false alerts. To be fair I've found this generation of PVTS much better than the previous one that used the flat fob.

If you have the luxury of multiple insurers. Come renewal Admiral was more or less the only viable option for me and telling them I had PVTS took £500 off the premium.

Battery change once in 2 years in my experience and in all other Porsches where I've had PVTS.

Suggest to get it re-paired with your PCM / car (used to be a thing but not 100% certain that it is now ony later MYs (was the case with MY21 for example and not the case for MY23).

I had the issue several times whilst I was driving back to my house on Saturday on the way back from a charge point. Not had this issue since I changed my batteries a few months ago. Strange thing is that I was driving back from a charge point as my car would not charge at home overnight and kept getting a charging error, so I had to go out and test it. When I got home it then worked on my home charger. Typical as I was going away for the weekend, which meant i had to use on road chargers as I didn't have time to fully charge at home. The following morning, I got the Porsche boot up screen, so i had to reboot the car. I wonder if there was something going on with my car. It has been fine since.

Sounds about right same saga when it comes to declaring and define factory options - agents generally get it wrong and the supervisor if requested normally steps in. I've had the runaround twice now with Admiral then dumped them last time around.
