the macan has now Waze in the dashboard, BMW M3 also and so does the RS6.
In the Taycan at the moment only Plan show direction sign in the HUD .

I think he might mean center tube on the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC).

No, I don't think this is possible in the J1.2 Taycan. The Macan EV has a newer version of the PCM that makes this possible.
There was an announcement about PCM for the 2026 Taycan, so maybe that version will be able to do it.

I use Waze. Just connect your phone via CarPlay (or Android Auto) and you should be able to do it.

Waze is the business for ensuring your speed is accurate and speed cameras. Not great for planning trips compared to other apps though.

Always good to hear about the most efficient route planning with ABRP, Zapmap etc

Strange question.

Waze will show in the central screen like all other cars with carplay. The RS6 will not let you show anything other that the Audi nav in the screen behind the steering wheel. And definitely nothing in the HUD other than built in nav.

I have Waze in the central tube display in front of my steering wheel, in my BMW i4. However in the Taycan MY20 I can only have Waze in the main PCM display in the center of the car.
’’Porsche were supposed to have close co operation with Apple on CarPlay, but I think that was mostly marketing talk.
BMW are light years ahead in their connected car strategy!

I meant center tube yes
I found it crazy that a facelift is outdated with new pcm less than a year after it was announced

no car play? I have a turbo 2021 and it does wireless AA and car play (presumably , I don't have an apple) it's not listed as an optional extra so I assumed it was standard. that's pretty lame that a 4 year old car worth in excess of 100k didn't come with it!

Can that be market dependent? I have a MY20 and I have Carplay in my PCM screen. It is a setup in the PCM.

Yes quite agree on BMW being ahead on this and many other things. BMW just added Waze to the central tube display during a software update on my X5. Its also just been added on my son's Range Rover. I dont think electronics have been a Porsche forte for a v long time (starting with my 928 GTS!) and they admitted on their recent listing that software was holding up new car launches.... we also have the flat battery issue which seems to be software related....oh dear...

I am driving a 2024 Macan EV as a loaner and noticed when plot a destination on Waze in the center screen it would show on the driver's dash screen in full map view.
