what does regular interior Alcantara cleaning look like?

Hi, this is my first alcantare car. It's a GTS with the GTS interior package. Basically alcantrata almost everywhere.

I'm kinda apprehensive about interior cleaning. Just not sure what products to use and how with the weekly wash.

ALSO the top dash looks lime leather but it is real or faux?

I have a mercedes and MB do an interior dressing spray that works great in the MB. I in fact use It in all my cars. Not sure about this one though.

I use a product called SONAX on mine which is sold on amazon - it comes in kit form with soft brush specifically designed for the job -it gets excellent results

I use sonax also. Every 1000 miles or so. With a rag and a brush.

I brush the steering wheel separately without sonax more frequently.

14k+ miles and no issues.

I'd be careful with regard to brushing. Alcantara is just a fancy Italian word for plastic. If you brush it repeatedly you can rest assured that you will be releasing micro-plastics into the cabin. The jury is still out on what the long term effects of breathing, eating, and drinking micro-plastics will be. For me, I think I would rather sacrifice a couple cows and stick with real leather.

+1 for Sonax Alcantara cleaner. I've had a few cars with alcantara and have had great results with Sonax.

I use the alcantara cleaner from BMW with a brush and microfiber, works fine!

After reading this I will try the Sonax next ?
