I have a March 2021 taycan turbo and I do quite a few miles with the car and need to put on my 3rd set of tyres on the front. Car is just about to hit 18000 miles. Currently have Michelin Sport 4 all around and was considering trying there new Michelin sport EV. Any thoughts on this tyre? I also don’t like mixing tyres but the rears have just under 6mm left.

A second question? Service costs. I have just been quoted £850 for my service by Porsche wilmslow. Is this fair? Seems a bit steep as there is not exactly much to service on the car.

My plan is to change the bottle of tire goo and cabin filter myself, and book the service visit as a brake flush only. I am not going to be overcharged for a simple service just because the car doesn't need regular oil changes and such.

Am I being cheap? Maybe. But getting away from excessive service charges was part of the reason I went electric.
