What's going on with Rivian's and EA Charging Stations....?

A few months ago, I recall reading some guy's Rivian had its charge point connection 'welded' to the charge connector and the EA unit suffered an internal mishap.

Just finished a 932 mi round-trip from Western Montana to Seattle, WA. Parked next to a Rivian at the EA in Ellensburg, WA. The owners really liked it and no fire while they charged. Most likely an isolated event in the story. A side note, all three EA charges I stopped at on the trip had 350 kWh up. The worst EA site I have seen yet is Ellensburg, WA. It sits in front of the Taco Bell drive thru exit.

So what made the Ellensburg EA Station the worst? Was it a charging issue or just getting in to charge because of that Taco Bell?

Trying to get in to the charger with the TB drive through cars pulling out and the cars going to park was just a stupid traffic engineering design. Also, a very busy station and no room to expand at that location. Next trip I may go for the 191 mile distance between the Ritzville, WA EA and the North Bend, WA EA. Both those station work well, and the Ritzville has a canopy.

What kW did you actually get charging though? Asking because I haven’t seen higher than 150 even after pre-conditioning at newer stations in my area of Northern California

So on this trip: EA Smelterville, ID averaged 212.87 kWh charge, EA Broadway Spokane averaged 172 kWh, Ellensburg, WA averaged 158.6 kWH, Seattle E. Madison 131.5 kWH. For some reason the Ritzville, WA data was not in my log?
