I had promised myself the CT would have been a keeper and had no intention to change it due to the resell value as well…
It only took a good sales rep and a bit of a smart move to get me into a new Taycan…
Just bought a 4S resembling and shadowing black edition…

Couple of things worked in my favour:
-Someone interested in a CT with the specs of my CT.
-black edition sitting there brand new with no buyer and old price tag on it.
-Dealer just needed one sale to get their 6 months bonus by Porsche ( or so they told me..)
- Price tag 107.500.
Down to 97.5k after a brief chat. I could have hit harder…
- my 2023 CT with 7k miles on the clock…(no comment…) 65k and they have offered 55 to start with…
- we can read it 2 ways- new car can be bought with 20 grand discount…
- or ( I doubt it) they have valued more my CT ( which in fairness is spotless and just paid the 2 Years service…
Didn’t order it, it’s a brand new car awaiting to be delivered to the dealership.
Included ceramic coating ( usually they charge 895?)

The CT was 110 2023. Lost 45K in 26 months

For this 2026 model I have been considering just a very basics specs car. More to the look less to the options.

And finally happy to get rid of the smart key entry. This has been a nightmare.

The second main reason why I am moving forward is the brakes. After the first recall for brakes hoses one year ago the car has never felt right in terms of braking and porsche didn’t really care to fix the issue.
Confidence of driving it fast was lost and the Taycan became just a beautiful object for schools and supermarket runs. Not acceptable…
Either look at a car I can never enjoy to drive or swallow the loss and move to something very expensive I can enjoy when I fill like it…
