Nah - I don't think so. Look at the complaints --
  • Personal Preference Issues
    • PPF
    • Black Color
    • AC isn't cold enough (not in my experience - but add this to the repair bullet if concerned)
    • Windows are slow (they are not BTW, but did he not test drive the car?)
    • Mic sounds like a hurricane (only time I've ever heard anything like this)
  • Stuff to take to the Dealer (with only 10,000 miles I'm sure he is under warranty)
    • AC - Get it tested.
    • Rattles - Get it fixed
    • Charge door on Driver's Side - Get it fixed
    • Side Panel pops off (very weird by the way - never heard of this so get the damn thing fixed).
  • Research Issues
    • Mileage - Well excuse me! Did you not check miles at 100% charge ahead of time?

If you don't know how to do your homework when buying a car, I don't know what to tell you.
Sometimes when you're so excited about a new car, especially one that looks like the Mission E, you emotion blinds you to obvious flaws. This also applies to partners.

While I wouldn't call any of the issues quoted by OP "flaws", I agree that some folks leap before doing a careful analysis. But on a $150k-$200k used car? Really?

Honestly, three or four of the "issues" quoted are not issues at all but things like "don't like Black after all". The other items can easily be addressed by a dealer under warranty.

But what I'm curious about is your statement "This also applies to partners."

WOW - didn't see that coming. ;)

Sad day, goodbye for now, maybe not forever. Here were the reasons:

1. PPF care…I won’t put this on a car ever again. It looks worse than if you just deal with the inevitable rock pitting.

2. Black…takes too much effort to make it look good. Nothing looks better when clean and just polished, but it’s instantly dirty and every swirl is too obvious.

3. charge door is temperamental and I’m tired of seeing the yellow error message.

4. AC charge on driver’s side doesn’t always work.

5. AC isn’t as cold as the usual Porsche.

6. Windows are so slow. Probably needed stripping to be replaced.

7. Mic sounds like a hurricane is blowing in the car at all times.

8. drivers side panel pops off all the dang time whenever I brush it with my elbow.

9. range sucks.

10. Everything rattles inside for a car with only 10k miles.

11. I just joined this forum and it was disheartening to see so many others with so many problems as well.

Add in all the recalls, ugh. It was Porsche saying they wanted $500 to figure out why the mic sucks that finally did me in. CarMax, good luck!
Turned in my 2022 Taycan Turbo S Cross Turismo early for most of the same reasons,

So, 17 contributions, none more than 1 from OP.
I guess the "troll" assumption hit the spot.

you mean to say there are people out there who actually want the ST? I figured they were all given them as company cars ;)
Well kinda: I prefer the sedan line, which looks more like a 911.
But the trunk access is much too small for our family's one-car needs. If it was a hatch, I would have one. The difference being the blue part here:

I was only kidding. but if I'm being honest I do prefer the saloon style, despite usually liking hatchbacks more than saloons. but like you say , it's maybe because it looks slightly closer to the 911 and I miss my old one

Agreed! And no need to be “high school” rude in response!
I think his complaints are legit. Sometimes you just need to vent, especially when dropping >200k on a car that did not live up to the Porsche standard.
