Picking up our CT4 tomorrow and have the sto-N-sho, will be installing. Guess I might be drilling a new hole in the bracket. Will update what I find.

I omitted installing a front license plate on my 4S, tickets be damned. I hate the way plates interrupt the lines of the car. Knock on wood, I’ve been lucky thus far.

Picked up today only to find dealer had installed front license (my previous purchase from this dealer did not come installed and we told them we’d take the chance with that car, so assumed this would be the same).

I imagine there is no (inexpensive) way to have it removed and still look ok, correct?

Bummer. I believe some folks have undone a drilled front plate by getting color matched plugs that blend in and look like the parking radar sensors.

So I received the Sto N Sho for my 2022 Taycan this week, but when I tried to install it, the pre-drilled holes are not in the correct spot.

I emailed them to see if they can send me a proper one.

eek... i just order one as well, please let me know what they told you.
Same here. I have the sto n sho and hoping to pick the car up in the next 10-15 days. I emaield them about the fit and they said it will fit as did my dealer as they said physically the car is the same.

Yeah, but mine does NOT fit. I need to try and drill a new hole and see if it works.

Ok, we picked up our car yesterday and I installed the plate today with the sto-n-sho, no problems. Looking at your picture, you are using the wrong holes. The screw on the left should be in the hole that is exposed there. The two holes in the bracket to use are the ones that look like they are freshly drilled. Also don't tighten one side down, just start the threads, then do the same with the other screw. Then tighten them both down, working side to side. Also you should have two white plastic spacers, those go between the bracket and the bumper.

But look closely. I'm using the same hole as you, third one from the left. I did use the freshly drilled holes which are slightly larger than the other two. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. You installed on the driver's side, right?

I just went out and tried again, and for sure the hole is not in the right position. I didn't even screw either side in as per your instructions. More photos below.

@285kph Acknowledging - the actual mounting process is trivial. In some states in the USA, a new car must undergo state mandated ‘inspection’ before the car can be delivered. In Massachusetts, for example, you must pay for the car first, then ownership is registered with the state, then the state mandated inspection happens. Along with other checks, the plates must be mounted properly to pass the inspection. Only after that can the car be delivered to the buyer.
In these cases, the buyer will want to get ahead of egregious bumper drilling and provide their mounting hardware for the dealer to install so that the front plates are mounted in their preferred manner before inspection.
About two weeks late with my reply - the MA inspection station that provided my sticker did not complain about the license plate being stuck to the bumper with 3M double-sided tape. I drove around like that for a month before the Sto N Sho arrived.

Yes, it's on the drivers side.

I drilled the hole larger to one side, and now I was able to mount it. All is good.

But I did end up scraping the bracket while backing out of a driveway. The bracket reduces ground clearance by half inch.

Might be a dumb question but does the Sto n Sho have to be mounted on the side? Debating my options and a sto n sho in dead center makes the most sense to me aesthetically.

Would it be blocking sensors or something?
