I’ve got the same green/black theme going on… in AZ, we have this matrix design plate that would match colors well. ?

Gotta love it when government bureaucrats dabble in art. We know the artist was no engineer, fan of aviation, a person who pays attention to details, or even a person who would perhaps look at a YouTube video of the Wright brothers plane in flight before drawing in on a license plate. This was their original design at unveil time (not before printing 35,000 plates though). Perhaps it was a politician's relative in need of a job, or maybe just another a design by government committee.

To fix it, they just mirror imaged the plane, so it now looks like it's making a mid air 90 degree turn.

Here in Kentucky we have a specialty "Friends of Coal" plate. It costs an additional $25 per year. It's very common to see it used on black cars - for obvious reasons.

I went a step further on my S5 and spray painted it a little.

It's quite ironic to use it on a Taycan here because the bulk of our electricity is produced from Coal.

Yeah, we have that too. Not getting their taxes at the gas pumps, you know they’ll get it somehow.

No wonder, there are so little EV models.

We get free license plates, vs up to ~14000 USD for a ICE plate. We even got a discount on our home electricity (15 USD cents per kWh) because we drive EV.
