Yep indeed, mentioned above - what I would REALLY prefer is that they completely merge the Charge NA app into the MyPorsche app as I have pined for before - still dreaming.

They kinda...did? Map page, charge button, search for chargers...tap the card, then tap the charger station, you can start charging from there.

I haven't had to use an app at all for EA since turning on plug-and-charge though.

Well I be - you are 100% correct - thx, had not dug in this far - this is excellent.

I need to test this out as will be perfect if it records the charging session (P&C) as my last (and first) two P&C sessions were both recorded in the Charging NA app.

Spot on - this update all in all quite a significant one imo. And to confirm it ported over the last two P&C sessions I had in the (now) old Charging app.

Yes that’s nice to see, including ability to toggle preexisting profiles on or off. Unfortunately still no ability to edit or create new profiles though. However, the update notes tell me to continue to be excited for future features and updates - so excited I shall be.

I'm guessing that they prob also just ported over the 'real-time' charging page that they had in the Charging NA app to the MyPorsche app - this was an otherwise hidden icon/feature that only appeared in the map view when a charging session was engaged - tapping the icon brought up this 'real time charging status' view in the old app:

Does anyone know if you can get a graph of power used/power generated? I was hoping one of the Porsche apps would be able to show this. 'Trip Control' in the my.porsche.com browser app shows energy consumption, but does not show how much energy is recuperated and it does not show it in a chart form.

I have this graph on my Tesla which I use to monitor regenerative braking. It would be handy to see how the Taycan recoup is working in terms of efficiency.

I did some tests with the new app at the nearest Electrocute America station tonight.

I am happy to report:

- Charge timer at EA stations is on the map as it was in Porsche Connect
- Charge ETA is back
- Charging speed is available, and can be toggled between miles/kW.

All the stuff I was missing is in the new My Porsche app. I have uninstalled Charging NA and Porsche Connect.

Thanks for sharing - ditto re other apps - very pleased too with the app's recent updates and that last update again was indeed significant. Think Porsche got the message to consolidate and mature the numerous apps into a single platform app at last (which of course they were working on regardless ) !

Definite step in the right direction. Maybe the PCM update we’re seeing in the GTS videos combined with this app direction will see real improvements in 2022.

Just start and stop and a timer right now I believe so yet to come - will eventually.

No. One of the main reasons why I’m still using the connect app. I also find the connectivity to be better with connect.
