Hello,

This is my build -> http://www.porsche-code.com/PNJS9BF6

1 question: Should I add the Off-road package? I’m thibking that it protects somehow the car and it also makes it more good looking…

Thank you for your feedback.

Good setup! I love massage seats myself. They work very well. Sport sound is mandatory for me, use it daily. Rear axle steering is very good and useful, betters the car even on icy roads and makes cornering real fun. I don't have Off-road package, I like the look a bit cleaner.

Congrats on your spec, Paul! I really like the off road package, looks more like a "racing pack" with all the little aero parts, and also in gloss black. I think if you're going for an optional metallic colour, why not choosing Neptune blue? It would look bonkers in your spec, with 21" and panoramic.

I would ditch the electronic charger port. Not useful, only for show.

Really a downside of not having leather checked. The seats are alright but the dashboard will be plastic :(

The 4+1 really wasted money, the middle seat can't be used by a normal size adult.

PRIM really not worth it, you have to make your own itinerary to be sure you'll arrive at your destination

Porsche mobile charger connect is too expensive IMO, you can charge with any 22kW charger on the market

Let us know what your final spec will be!

Thank you, Ciprian.
I think I will keep my actual setup for now, as I am already over budget with 3k ? and moreover, tomorrow I will pick up my Cayenne which is specked like this:

http://www.porschecode.com/PNQ2KJW2

And that’s why I will use the Taycan as a second car within a limited budget.
I need the 4+1 seats, PIRM I think it’s a nice gimmick, but as for the off-road package I’m slowly beginning to understand that I can live without it, thus I will put a nice quality ppf on the parts where the kit should be - so I can protect her from stone chips and stuff; having the color black metallic helps me “mask” the fact that I have no off-road pack… :))

I will post pics with the car when it will arrive.

I chose the 4+1 seats also for my build. While I dont need the extra seating, I will need the 40/20/40 split sometimes. Also, I chose the electric charge door too. It’s a gimmick but it comes with the benefit of blocking the vents behind the front wheels which can keep the doors from getting blasted with dirt and sand. This can be important for those who use their vehicles in winter (I think it looks better too).

I'd skip off-road plastic, but if you are going to keep it, then make it black, looks better than "silver".

Great car! For interior consider Neodyne or other for some of the panels like door, cup holders, vents. It really makes the interior stand out and breaks the monotonous black. I will also recommend rear axel steering, its a great innovation and really helps with turns.

Looks good - quite a high spec for a 4 but I guess you realise that?

Consider

1. No passenger screen - pointless really IMHO
2. ORDP (design pack) - I don't think you need this - more superfluous plastic but there is added height

Remember additional +10mm ride height with ORDP:

Interesting wording: confuserator... in our language, last part of that word means "one that makes (talks) shit" :giggle:

ok. Let me see
@W1NGE : no, there's no additional +10mm at all... I've been mislead by sales guy who "sold" me those 10mm.
We have already discussed that here a couple of times... here's the chart:

https://www.taycanforum.com/forum/t...with-and-without-offroad-design-package.4984/

Speaking about passenger's screen: have you seen this picture?
https://www.taycanforum.com/forum/attachments/img_4731-jpeg.30079/

cool! Will keep the passenger screen ?

Yeah, I realize it’s quite specked…but I love them add-ons within a limit :))
1. I will keep it.
2. I don’t think so.
