18mmHow thick is the new glass? Can we see?
Just bullet proof, no guns.In the end one probably has to ride in an unmarked car and the Taycan a short distance away to confuse bad guys? so one can't really enjoy it.
But is it just reinforced or does it also have weapons for armed response in case of an attack?
Could be from their owners reaching breaking point when dancing around trying to get the comfort access trunk to open.Ha - I was expecting to see a Taycan riddled with bullet holes!
PS: increasingly common sight here in Houston believe it or not!
Wow, I would have expected a lot more weight to armor the doors and roof, much less the glass.149 Kg more. original springs.
Ha, indeed - but I added a qualifier to my post - shootings not specifically at Taycan'sCould be from their owners reaching breaking point when dancing around trying to get the comfort access trunk to open.
Parabens Gabriel! Muito bonito. It seems that you are all set when it comes to protecting yourself and your family from Sao Paulo's (?) finest criminals. I would however be extremely careful on those streets with the 21 inch wheels and no spare tire on board. And another question on the windows: Can you roll any or all of them down? A colleague of mine down there had an E Class that was armored at the factory and only the driver's window went down -- and just a few inches. Enjoy your ride!Hello friends , I just turned my Taycan 4S Plus into a bulletproof car !!!
I didn't feel any difference in terms of performance, I still having 421km in range mode. (I honestly expected something around 500km when I bought the car).
Best regards !

If you drive a Porsche Taycan in Sao Paulo that is not armored, you probably have a death wish, and it won't take long for your wish to come true.?LOL…Brasil might be a little more dangerous than we are aware of?
It's a very discreet job. But are the tires (on 21" rims) bulletproof as well? And if the windows can't be lowered, how do you respond if you need to?I would however be extremely careful on those streets with the 21 inch wheels and no spare tire on board.
