Help and apologies for the long title.

Essentially after the reports of the Tesla pilot opening selected chargers to non Tesla cars and several Youtube videos confirming that charging non Tesla cars actually worked in the Netherlands and Belgium using a Tesla account and app to pay for charging, I then noticed that France was added to the pilot.

On a recent visit to Italy, I found that A Better Route Planner was suggesting the Tesla Laxou Supercharger as one of the chargers that can be used

I checked that charger on Tesla's website [https://www.tesla.com/en_au/findus/location/supercharger/laxousupercharger]confirms this. Yet downloading the Tesla app from the UK IOS App Store and re downloading the app does not appear to provide an option to use any of the Tesla chargers in their pilot across the 4 countries that opened so far. Is this related to the App Store in the UK or am I missing something?

I have found the Ionity network excellent for European trips so far, but adding more charging option would certainly help

Thanks

tl;dr: It's not open to users from every country yet – for some reason.
correct! I have the Tesla app with my subscription here in France and that shows the available chargers. I have only attempted at one supercharger so far and it worked fine. Only issue I had to park like a moron, so I stopped charging when several Tesla cars arrived. I hope they will adjust the charger position or fit longer cables on the ones that will be made available. I also hope they will open this up to further stations, that would be nice yo have as a complement

The trick is to just make a second Tesla account with a random address in a random supported country.
It worked, Thanks very much

Has anyone found a mechanism to trigger battery pre-heat when going to a Tesla Supercharger?

I'm scheduling a trip where I plan to stop at the Tesla Nancy supercharger which is open to non-teslas but because they don't show up in the Porsche Intelligent Ranger Manager, how can I pre-heat the battery ahead of arrival to minimize charging time?

Sticking it in sports plus or choosing another nearby charge in the satnav are work arounds apparently.

Would be good if there was a button you could press though. My local porsche supercharger doesn't show up in the car satnav, though it does on the porsche charging app, but i don't think the latter talks to the car.
